Last call for Broadway

I think the best way to close out the year is to list all the Broadway and off-Broadway shows closing in January (as of this posting).  If you’re currently in NYC and want to see something other than a giant lighted tree (and I’m sure that there are a few people who come here just for that) or just anything for that matter, then I suggest seeing the following shows before they close for good.  Or until their revivals come around.  I have reviewed most if not all shows but if you’re looking for more info on them, check out my links.  Have a Happy New Year!

I’m back!  And full of tryptophan (I love turkey).

One good thing about the current economic climate: Shows that were once unavailable to the general public the day of the show are now available.  Especially the decent seats.

I’ll explain the title: It’s the title of a musical by Jacob Sterling who was inspired by his visiting mother’s complaint as they walked around the city.  Here’s the thing: Neither the musical nor the composer are real.

No, I’m not writing reviews to shows once they announce closing.  If I haven’t written a review yet for a certain show and they just announced their closing, then I choose to write about it.  And judging from the rumor mill more of these show closing reviews will come.  Now on to the review.
